Hello. I’m Mary and I live in a small village in the foothills of the Pyrenees – South-West France where I enjoy creating artefacts in my home studio.

Making art provides me with a deep sense of presence, purpose and possibility. Every new piece is an opportunity to play and experiment combining vision, love, technical know-how and a big dose of intuition.

I usually have several different projects underway at any one time and these include:
Painting with acrylics and mixed media
Welcome to my world of abstract design using vibrant colours and textures.

Making cards
A touch of handmade beauty for every occasion. Being a mixed media artist I have an abundance of homemade collage and other ephemera in my studio which I use to ensure that each card is a small work of art, expressing heartfelt sentiments and adding a personal touch to any message.

Working with wood
Transforming wood into art was fuelled by a chance discovery when I found a beautiful branch, (smoothed out by water and time), in a local stream. I loved the look and feel. That find was one of many, and back in my studio I created ‘Tribal Sticks’. White paint and pattern on natural wood was the basis of my first collection. I’ve since been experimenting with more colourful and decorative styles.
